    Nintendo to step into the anime industry

    Nintendo’s adviser Hiroshi Yamauchi announced at a press conference that Nintendo would be investigating the possibility of forming an animation studio a few months back. Now Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports that Nintendo will enter the anime business in 2006. It will produce properties with anime and video game tie-ins.

    Hah! I’d kill for a Fire Emblem anime!

    Lack of updates

    Yes, I know. There hasn’t been a lot of stuff to report lately and frankly, because we’re at a certain nerd school, I have books to attend to. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some more updates to the site soon. Yeah, forum still coming =D Though I might have to resort to using proboards just to get it up really fast.

    Geneon Entertainment Signs Distribution Agreement with Toei Animation

    GENEON ENTERTAINMENT SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH TOEI ANIMATION

    Air Master, Interlude, And Slam Dunk Among First Properties To Be Distributed On DVD

    LONG BEACH, Calif. ­ Geneon Entertainment announced today an agreement with leading Japanese anime producer Toei Animation (JASDAQ - code 4816) to distribute the company’s animation programs on DVD in the U.S. and Canada. The first titles slated to be distributed under the agreement are Air Master, Interlude and Slam Dunk.
